PATORNITY THAT AROSES FESTIVITY

Every third Sunday of January, people all over Cebu used to show their strong devotion to a holy child ( balaang bata) who was being brought by the Spaniards way back on the year 1521. The child was given name as Senyor Santo Nino. Because it is believed that this child did performed lots of miracles to others, people in Cebu do believe him resulting for them to praise and patronize the said redeemer.Ever since Cebuanos used to show their strong and undying devotion to Senyor Santo Nino which was also the reason why  the well-known" Sinulog Festival" arose. One way how Cebuanos show their belief is through making up the best festival that can transparently show how faithful they are to Senyor Santo Nino.

Since Sinulog Festival is a celebration that comes once a year, people used this oppurtunity to exaggeratedly enjoy every moment they could have.Yet, the festival also is not just a plain festival for fun and devotion all throughout Cebu but it also claimed as one of the best festival all over the world. Well, in fact lots of tourists not just from different parts of the Philippines but also from different countries all over the globe came Cebu just to witness the Sinulog festival. Moreover,we cannot just set aside the fact that this festival not just for Cebuano's devotion but also a source of tourists destination. A source that can help Cebu to be a progressive one. Through seducing more visitors to come and experience how Cebuanos able to show and captivate the heart of every visitors.   

One way also to best describe the "Sinulog Festival" is that you can unbelievably see numbers of people gathered around the Basilica Del Santo Nino, where the image of the divine child was placed. There, thousands of people used to gathered themselves just to attend the sacred mass.It feels overwhelming deep inside that no matter how superficial our society is nowadays, there is an urged in every human that can make feel that God is within us through Senyor Santo Nino.
